Georgia remains one of the states that has refused Medicaid expansion, leaving hundreds of thousands of working families uninsured. As an APRN practicing in DeKalb County, Dr. Orabueze sees the consequences every day — neighbors delaying care, rationing medication, and turning to emergency rooms for what should be routine treatment. She will fight to close the coverage gap, protect DeKalb's community health centers, and ensure no District 44 resident is denied care because of income or zip code.

She will champion equitable school funding, real support for teachers, and pathways that carry students from pre-K through career.

She stands firmly for the rights of indigenous communities to practice their faith and spiritual traditions without interference or suppression. Protecting religious worship — for Christians and all peoples of faith — is a human rights imperative, not a political one.
In the Georgia State Senate, Dr. Orabueze will oppose any law that restricts the free exercise of religion and will champion international advocacy for persecuted Christian communities and indigenous peoples whose spiritual traditions are under threat.
